Day 364

Well this is it, the last day. I don't know how I'm only at day 364 when it's the last day of the year...I guess I miss counted somewhere, but I know I published a pic for every day so somewhere on the blog I must have labelled 2 entries with the same date. Oh well, I'm not going to go back and re-fix them all now...I'm just glad that I no longer have to be a slave to my camera. It was a fun project but it was difficult at times. I'm just proud that I took the challenge, stuck with it, and made it through to the end!

Day 363

I took the kids out to a near by hill to do some sledding today. I knew the knew few days were going to be really cold so I made sure we got out today to take advantage of the fresh air and sunshine.

Day 362

This morning Ryan woke up with a weird little flip in his hair that stayed the whole day. By the end of the day I hadn't taken a picture of anything else, so this is it for the day!

Day 361

Happy birthday Wally! I made his cake today. I asked him a few days ago what kind of cake he wanted and he said "I don't know...The Enterprise!" So this is what I came up with. The ship and planet are fondant, and planet Jupiter is hand painted, though he thought it was Mars, go figure. The cake was a lemon cake with a blueberry filling, two of his favourite flavours.

Day 360

Today the kids gave Wally his birthday presents early because he has to work tomorrow.

Day 359

I needed to find a spot in the kitchen for my new Kitchen Aid mixer. I found one spot but I needed to move a few things into a little used cabinet by the stove. I tried to clear it out but the guy who built this kitchen (my husband) did all kinds of weird things. There was a some kind of separator inside that I couldn't get out because a screw driver wouldn't fit, so I actually had to take the whole counter apart. What a mess. This was supposed to be a 5 minute job, instead it took 3 hours!

Day 358

CHRISTMAS!

Day 357

Day one of Christmas vacation. Luckily Wally brought home a big box to keep the kids busy for a few days. Today we cut out windows and a door, and decorated it a bit.

Day 356

Today Ryan had a half day at school, I had to pick something up there, so I was invited to have lunch with the kids. Alex was with me so he got to experience what it would be like at school with all the other kids. He loved it of course. Here he is sitting at one of the tables eating.

Day 355

Last night was Ryan's school concert. I volunteered to run a raffle/game table and bake sale table. It was quite crazy, but a lot of fun. Here I am with my "Lucky Candy Canes" game and prize table.

Day 354

A picture of our aquarium. I have worked hard at getting it to look natural. I'm in there fussing with it almost every day. I love the way it looks, I could stare at it for hours. It's my dream aquarium :)

Day 353

This morning everything was covered in frost. The sun was out an the whole world just sparkled. I wish I could have gotten some better pictures of it, but the camera just doesn't capture what the eye can see.
