Day 214

This morning when we woke up we saw this drawing posted on Ryan's door. I asked him about it and he said it is a picture of Wally and it's a "No snoring" sign. Seems Wally has been falling asleep before Ryan while reading him bedtime stories, and he ends up snoring so Ryan can't sleep. I laughed so hard when I saw it.

I also made a Finding Nemo themed cake for a friend. It took me forever, but I'm pretty happy with how it looks. It's a Devil's food cake with vanilla and Skor toffee bits in the middle. All the details are made with chocolate and fondant.Yum!

Day 204

This morning I made the kids some peanut butter toast. My mom bought them a tube of Nutella-type spread from the dutch store. So as I squeezed it onto Ryan's toast, it looked to me like a big cat poop. So I brought it over to him and I said "Sorry Ry, I was making your toast and then one of the cats came over and pooped on it." He thought it was the funniest thing ever and we both cracked up over it the rest of the day. Sometimes I think I am an 8 year old boy trapped in a grown womans body.

I also started making another cake to practice my skills. This one I brought to my mom who is always commenting "Bring me some!" whenever I post food pictures on Facebook. So This time she got a piece :)

Day 157

I carpool on Mondays for Ryan's school. Here is Ryan and some of his school buddies goofing off while I drive them to their swimming lessons. It's hilarious hearing them giggling in the back and singing along to my Lady Gaga CD.

Day 151

Today was a lazy day at home. I was reclined in my chair with my feet up and crossed over my legs. Alex kept trying to get my attention and suddenly popped up between my crossed legs. I thought it looked hilarious so I grabbed the camera beside me on my desk and snapped this picture.
